Texas Bluebonnets

If you live in Texas, then you know all about the blue flowers that grow along the side of the highway during the spring. If you are traveling through texas, or hearing about Bluebonnets for the first time, you may wonder why everyone is parked on the side of the road taking pictures!

It seems as if most families who have kiddos will stop and do this at some point! Today our family stopped, even drove out of our way, to do just this! It’s bluebonnet season and we just had to get pictures of Lennox sitting in the field with them. It was SO windy, i’m surprised she didn’t blow away. She was not overly interested in the camera, as she usually is, instead she wanted to EAT all the bluebonnets… mmm tasty… yuck!

We were able to get about 10 minutes out of her before she went into meltdown mode (it had been a long day already), but we were able to get a lot of great shots! Here are a few of my favorites:

    we got the dress at a consignment / kids resale shop for 7 bucks and it had the leggings, dress, diaper bottom, hat and cardigan. what a deal!
