It’s that time of year again! Just Between Friends Consignment sale at Will Rogers in Fort Worth, TX! I love this time of year, it’s a time where I get to sell all of Lennox’s clothes and toys that she no longer can use for some extra cash, and buy lots of new stuff for her at a fraction of the cost! This sale I’m planning on getting Lennox a bunch of fall/winter clothes and almost all her Christmas gifts! I got her Christmas gifts here last year, and it worked out great!
The Fall 2012 sale takes place August 29 – September 10 at Will Rogers Memorial Center – Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall. They have over 75,000 square feet of children’s clothes, toys, equipment and maternity items.
To give you an idea of how I have done in the past, I made a little over $300 during the first sale (Fall 2011) and a little over $500 (!!!) during the Spring 2013 JBF sale. I spent approximately $175 at each sale, so I still made more than I spent (that’s my goal!). I don’t have a lot of big-ticket items this time around, so I’m sure I will make a little less, but I look forward to cleaning out some of Lennox’s closets and making room for all the new stuff that comes with the fall sale, Christmas, etc.
I will be starting to get everything ready this next week, I will put together some new tips as I’m trying a few new things this time around, but until then, I have written 7 Tips for a Consignment Sale from past sales that are posted on Steph’s blog over at A Grande Life.

I have been to all the north Texas sales and the thing I liked best was how many super cute items they had. I feel like my son and daughter have really cool wardrobes!
Stumbled across your blog through FB. Can’t wait to shop for baby girl due in Oct (our first girl!!).
How much fun!! I just love shopping for our little girl! They have the cutest clothes! Have fun & thanks for stopping by! Come back again
They have something similar to this near me…I’m totally getting ideas for when we have a lil one!

I have shopped JBF for about 7 year and consigned for the first time in the spring and it was awesome. I made about $500 and spent about $225. Mind you that is for 3 kids and I bought a toddler bed ($40), so it was definitely a win. If you have never shopped JBF then you should definitely check it out. If you have kids stuff you should definitely consign….you will never have a gargae sale again!
I’ve been hearing good things about it for ages, but never made the time to go. My kids are older, and I usually give their things to charity, so I never had much left to consign.
Love jbf. They are awesome.
This will be my first sale!
