Toys I found at Consignment Sale JBF

Consignment Sale Goodies {JBF Fort Worth}

Friday night was the big shopping night for team leaders, 16, 12, 8 hour volunteers at Just Between Friends Fort Worth. I made my list and headed off to the sale with my next door neighbor. I am always super excited to head to the sale and shop! It’s like my twice a year mini-shopping spree! Everything is priced so well, I don’t have to think too much if I should get it or not. Love it! I had a higher budget this time than I have in the past and I was shopping for Christmas gifts for Lennox from both sides of the family. Oh yeah, I can spend other people’s money without a problem!

The main items I was looking for were:

  • Video Monitor
  • Rocking Horse
  • Doll House
  • Stick Horse
  • Winter Coat
  • Shoes
  • LeapFrog Tag Junior Books
  • Piano/Keyboard
  • Clothes
Well, I got everything on my list. Including the Video Monitor for $20! I was so excited about this monitor. Unfortunately when I got home and tried it out, it didn’t work correctly :(. It was disappointing but the great owners of JBF Fort Worth let me return it and I got my money back. So at least it wasn’t a complete loss. Here are the toys that I got, almost all of them are being hidden until Christmas!

Toys I found at Consignment Sale JBF

The Radio Flyer Bike is in BRAND NEW condition for $30 {this is going to be from my mother-in-law for christmas}. The keyboard is by B. Toys, if you haven’t had their toys before, you can get them at target – I love them! That keyboard {$10}, 4 LeapFrog Tag Junior books {$10 — just one new is $10!} and the Melissa & Doug puzzle {$6} will be from my parents for Christmas. The rest will be from us. I did give her the little tiny FurReal Puppy {$1} and the stick horse {$4}. She loves the horse, she’s a little unsure about the puppy still. Our dog was excited about it though! Oh, the rocking horse was only $8 and in almost perfect condition – I’m excited about that! The other toys were well priced too. Doll House w/ all parts {$12}, Puppy Grows New In Box {$8}, Circo Block Puzzle – New {$4}, New Toaster for her play kitchen {$4}, Elmo DVD {$3}, Very Hungry Caterpillar Puzzle {$2}, Baby Carrier {$3}.

Once I was done with all the toys, It was time to head over to the shoes and clothes. This part is always a ton of fun but very time consuming! It took me 2 hours to go through just size 3T! I found some great deals. Here is everything I got {everything ranged from $3-$6}:

Consignment Sale Clothes

My favorites out of all the clothes are the Ralph Lauren Navy Cable Knit sweater for $5 {this matches Lennox’s uniform great!}, The yellow Gap raincoat for $5, Columbia Pink Fleece Jacket for $3 and the Gymboree Cord Jacket w/ shirt for $5. I also couldn’t pass up the pair of white and pink cowboy boots! These are Lennox’s first cowboy boots! I can’t wait for her to wear them 🙂

So, all in all — GREAT sale and great finds! As usual, the 2 owners {Pam & Joanie} are running an amazing sale and everything so far has run smoothly. I am heading back {I know, I know, I don’t need more} next friday for the 50% off Pre-Sale and to volunteer Saturday night {my second shift this sale}. I don’t plan on buying a ton but I want to check out what it’s all about and there are a few things I could get.

If you live in the DFW area, there is still time to go shop this weekend! Here are a few Consignment Sale tips!

You did great! I love that you shopped for Christmas too; such a smart idea. I haven’t made it to any consignment sales this year (to sell or shop) and I feel like I’m totally missing out. Maybe I should start prepping for the spring JBF sale now, LOL.

Yes I do! This is my third sale that i’m selling at. The first one I made in the $200’s, last one in the $500’s!
The keyboard looks like a lot of fun. I think my daughter will love it.

I am such a dork, but I had to tell you that I recognized the pajamas as the ones I consigned this year 🙂 I love seeing other people get value out of things I liked and used too!

I LOVE this sale and have been a part of it for at least 8 years. I am a grandmother of 6 and I consign, volunteer and shop, shop, shop and shop some more!!! I buy for my grandkids’ birthdays, Christmas and always get their holloween costumes at this sale. I get a lot of their clothes at this sale as most of the clothes being sold are like new because kids out grow them so fast. There is so much to chose from and the prices are soooooooo good. Then, a couple weeks after the sale and after you have spent so much money buying all your needed treasures, you get a nice juicy check in the mail for the stuff you sold. :):):) It is well worth the time and effort to consign your clothes and to volunteer at the sale. Joanie and Pam are great christian ladies and I have really enjoyed getting to know them both as well as building relationsthips with all the other volunteers. Try it you’ll like it!!!!
