The other week we ventured on our annual pumpkin farm trip! This time we decided to check out Hall’s Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine, TX. Lennox had been there before, but it was while we were on our cruise vacation last year, so she went with Grandma & Papa! Hall’s Pumpkin Farm really is a great pumpkin patch. It’s a small family run patch but it doesn’t feel so small. There were so many fun things for Lennox to do. From the pumpkins to the hay ride to hay house to corn maze to animals and playground, she was a busy little girl running around everywhere!
When we got there, Lennox checked out all the different pumpkins. She liked to see the different shapes and colors, and then pick them up and put them in a big line, I’m not quite sure why!
How big does she look sitting w/ the pumpkins? Too big!!
She got to play on the mini-tractors. These were too cool! They were just small ride on tractors but they were the perfect size for toddlers/young children. She liked them even better when daddy pushed her around!
Every pumpkin patch visit has to have a wooden cut out character shot, right?
Then Lennox decided to spend some time in the house made out of hay! She loved running in and out. She even ate her snack in there, while we waited outside. I may have gone inside with her too!
Before we left, we had to check out the corn maze! We had never been through one before, and this one was great! I was afraid it was going to be really short, and for $5/adult, that is a little disappointing. BUT… we were pleasantly surprised. We were in there for about 30-40 minutes, getting lost. At first we let Lennox lead the way, so you can imagine we went around in circles, but then we lead the way, and well.. we still were going around in circles! It was not easy at all, but eventually we found our way out!
It really was a great evening at Hall’s Pumpkin Farm! We went during the week so that it wouldn’t be too busy and that was a great idea. It was nice not having a ton of people running all around the place.
I had to get a picture of Lennox in front of the old Chevy truck too… check out the comparison from last year to this year. She sure has grown a lot!
