Well, I’m almost half way through the Shred. 1 more day to go and i’ll be there. I am proud of myself for getting this far and I can’t wait to get to 30 days to see what type of results I have gotten. Below is my update.. and don’t forget to join in with my link up at the end of this post.

Day 12:

Back into my daily work, take care of Lennox, get her to bed and then workout routine. Workout went well. In a way, I actually enjoy the walking push ups. They are so much easier in my opinion than regular push ups (and a lot less). I feel like a lot of the exercises in Level 2 are working a lot more muscles than Level 1, so I do feel like I’m getting somewhere.

No gym work out today, little miss Lennox was home sick with me.

Day 13:

I wasn’t as into workout today. But I pushed through and did it. Somehow about 1/2 way through the workout, I hurt the top front of my legs. I don’t even know how I did it, I was just getting some sharp pains. Maybe I was just “feeling the burn” that Jillian talks about, but I don’t think so. Hopefully Today was not as much fun. Somehow during the workout I hurt the front of my legs so I had a sharp pain while doing some of the exercises, but i pushed through and finished. I’m hoping my muscles loosen up overnight and while doing my gym workout tomorrow.

No gym work out today due to work meeting.

Day 14:

Just finished up day 14. My legs still hurt about half way through, I don’t know exactly what I’ve done. I think I may take 1 rest day this weekend in hopes that my legs will feel better again. Anyone else experienced this while doing the Shred?

Gym update: Back to the gym today at work — It had been almost a week so I took a little step back but moving forward again now. I would have to say, after I was headed back to my desk, I realized how good it felt to get up and do some exercise for 30 minutes. It is a nice break from sitting at my desk, staring at my screen all day. I would have to agree with the studies out there that some physical activities at lunchtime help improve mood and productivity at work the rest of the day. I found this interesting infographic all about working out during work.
