Family Dinner Night: BJ’s Restaurant Party for Two (+1)

*This is a sponsored post*

Going out to eat dinner with a toddler can be, well, interesting to say the least! If you have a squirmy, impatient toddler, like we do, we have to be very selective where we can all go out for dinner. BJ’s Restaurant is one of those places! Lucky for us, we have one right in our neighborhood, so it is one of our go-to spots. I have never been to BJ’s Restaurant and been disappointed – they have a huge menu and EVERYTHING is delicious! If you can’t find something that sounds good here, you aren’t going to find anything anywhere is how I think of it. Along with their great food (and AH-MAZING dessert), they are very family friendly. That makes it an easy choice when picking where to go when Lennox is with us.

So the other week we headed out to BJ’s Restaurant one evening after work & school. With promises of pizza and ice cream, Lennox responded with, “Let’s go to my restaurant!” OK! Let’s do it!

So what is the best part of going to BJ’s Restaurant right now? Their current deal, Party for Two. The Party for Two deal is pretty amazing in itself. You get to choose any two soups or salads, any medium BJ’s Signature Pizza and of course a BJ’s Restaurant Famous Pazookie dessert (Heaven!). All that, $19.95 people! With the amount of food you get, Lennox was able to share with us as well – so 3 meals, for $19.95 plus leftovers – I’ll take it!

So what did we get? We both choose the Caesar Salad.

It was really good and big! I hadn’t had that salad there before, and their dressing is really good. I think Lennox actually ate more of it than me – that girl loves her salad!

Then we choose the Deep Dish Gourmet Five Meat Pizza.

This pizza had about 10 pieces of pizza to it, PLENTY for 2 people. It had cheese, meatballs, pepperoni, ham, salami and italian sausage on it. A meat lovers pizza, for sure.

Then of course, we just had to have our dessert, because really? that is the highlight of any meal at BJ’s Restaurant! We picked out the Triple Chocolate Pizookie.

If you don’t know, a Pizookie is a freshly baked cookie with two scoops of ice cream. The Triple Chocolate Pizookie is: “A rich chocolate cookie made with chunks of Ghirardelli® chocolate. Topped with two scoops of double chocolate ice cream with Ghirardelli® chocolate chips and a Ghirardelli® SQUARES dark chocolate.”

So what am I really telling you? If you have a BJ’s Restaurant, you really need to grab your girlfriends, grab your spouse, or even the whole family and head out to lunch or dinner at your neighborhood BJ’s Restaurant. Order the Party for Two and have a great time! The Party for Two deal will be going on nationwide until April 29, 2013.

Their pizza looks delicious. We NEVER go out to a restaurant with our toddler. He is so all over the place and it drives me nuts. I really like to relax when I go out to eat. We try our hardest to find a babysitter if we do plan on going out. I guess he saves us money on going out to eat!

It is hard to go out with a toddler, that is for sure. A lot of times we go to very quick and casual places, but sometimes we try to venture out. The iPad/iphone usually saves us a little :-p

OMG! Hubs and i went there in Palm Harbor/Clearwater for a date, and it was amazing. It got me officially hooked on asian lettuce wraps, and Hubs was REALLY impressed with the selection of beer. I can’t wait to go back the next time we are on vacation!

It is really yummy – we have one less than 2 miles from our house, next to the movie theatre, so we tend to go there a lot before the movies on a date night, or after for a few drinks – they have a nice bar area too, and its not to “bar”-y! I haven’t tried the asian lettuce wraps – I’ll have to try them next time!
