As we take our (now) annual summer vacation back to my forever home, Cape Cod, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do something I’ve been wanting to do for a while – a Cape Cod series on my blog!
As you can tell, my new theme is completely nautical themed rather than Texas. I do love Texas but I don’t have a nostalgic feeling towards Texas like I do Cape Cod. I’ve talk dot many people who have never experience the Cape or understand how vastly different it is from Texas, I wanted to share some insight with all of you.
If you do know a lot of about cape cod – well I’m sorry if I bore you while we are on vacation – but feel to chime in with more tips, attraction info or just general insight on the area 🙂
My first task, What and Where is Cape Cod? Cape Cod is literally a cape that is attached to the eastern side of Massachusetts and jutting into the Atlantic Ocean. It technically is an island thanks to the man-made Cape Cod Canal but it is not usually referred to as an island. It’s unique shape, history and quaint town character has made Cape Cod into a very popular summer destination.
I look forward to sharing lots of photos with you from my hometown, my favorite towns on Cape Cod, the best beaches, eats, tourist traps and everything in between! Stay tuned!
