A busy family. That is what we are. After a long day at work, and lately with Kyle’s new job and funky hours (temporarily he has to work until 9 pm for 4 weeks) – making dinner is just not the thing I want to do! I try to figure out all my plans for dinner the weekend before and shop for everything I need so that we start the week out fresh and with somewhat of a plan. If I can have Sunday – Thursday planned, then we will have left overs on Friday & Saturday or go out to eat. So when I was included in the latest Social Fabric Sam’s Club #shop opportunity for this quick and easy recipe, it sounded like a good dinner idea to add to my list!
I headed to my local Sam’s Club to pick up all the ingredients – and now I have enough for a number of dinner ideas over the next few weeks! You can see all my photos in my Google + photo album as well.
The recipe I made for dinner tonight was, Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan.
What you will need:
Cooking Directions (for step by step instructions, refer to the recipe card at the bottom of this post)
You will want to prepare the Tyson Chicken as directed on the package, in the oven. While that is cooking, I pour a can of hunt’s tomato sauce into a small sauce pan and add some spaghetti seasoning. Season to your taste!
This gives it a little more flavor. While the Chicken is cooking, you will want to cook your pasta as well. When the chicken is done cooking, pull it out of the oven and pour a little sauce on it and sprinkle the shredded cheese.
Put back in oven for a few minutes (3-4) and melt the cheese. Once the cheese is melted, the chicken is done. Place the chicken on a bead of pasta and you are done! I was a little skeptical about using the Tyson chicken but honestly, it was really good and so quick and easy! Lennox loved it too – so that’s a win in my book!
If you have a Sam’s Club local to you, make sure to head in next week for some great demos.
On September 17th: Italian Style Fish & Pasta
On September 19th: Smoked Sausage Pasta OR Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan (this recipe!)
On September 24: Chicken Dippers
On October 3: Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan
If you are like me, you will love going in on demo days and trying out all the yummy treats that Sam’s Club has to offer! You may also find some other great meal ideas while looking around at all the deals Sam’s Club has. We can always spot the new items and look forward to trying them out. The convince of shopping in a little more bulk makes less shopping trips, which with our busy schedule – is welcome!
What is your favorite meal you make that includes Sam’s Club ingredients?
