An Evening at the Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the local pumpkin patch on Monday evening. Our nephew, Henry, was having a school event there so we joined him for the evening. We always head to Halls Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine / Colleyville area. It really is quite nice without being too huge. They have lots of pumpkins, set ups for pictures, cars, tractors, a hay ride, animals and a corn maze. It’s fun taking the same pictures every year to watch how Lennox has grown. You can see how much smaller she was last year!

I took SO many pictures – here are a handful of my favorites! I have a great comparison picture I will post soon too!

IMG_8210Surprisingly enough, we actually got a picture together too! IMG_8225IMG_8260This is the shot I get every single year – love this truck!IMG_8270This is what Lennox called her “Scary” face! She’s so scary, huh?IMG_8294And her surprised face….IMG_8296Last year, Lennox couldn’t even get up on the tractor on her own – this year – she did it all by herself. IMG_8305IMG_8309I say, we have entered the fake, cheesy smile stage! IMG_8350After a while, Henry arrived! IMG_8357You would never know they loved each other…IMG_8369We headed into the corn maze. It’s the best one I’ve been to! We even let them lead the way. We did some circling and wrong turns but they eventually got us out!IMG_8401IMG_8453Gosh, when did they get so big?IMG_8482ALL THE PUMPKINS!IMG_8503This is the pumpkin patch! Love how quaint it seems. IMG_8506Lennox and Henry’s scary faces! Not so scary kids!IMG_8535What a little ham…lennox-pumpkin-patch-2013This year Kyle couldn’t come with us – because last year he learned the hard way that he is allergic to hay! oops! But, either way, it was another successful trip to the pumpkin patch.
