Last month, I featured a Flashlight Friend, which has helped ease Lennox into her big girl room and she uses every single day still. But there has been one more item that she makes sure is always on when the lights go out and the door closes and that is her BrightLight Pillow.
The BrightLight Pillow is an alternative to a nightlight. It is a soft, shaped pillow (Lennox’s is a star) that when you press it, bright LED lights shine through. The lights are designed to not get hot as well, which was my #1 concern when I received this product. But after testing it out – no heat what so ever, they go of after a few minutes once Lennox has dozed off into sleepy dreamy land.
A few features of the BrightLight Pillow:
- Ultra Soft
- Soothing Lights
- Shuts off after 15 Minutes
- Lights change color gradually
Lennox uses this each night in bed, more as a stuffed animal than an actual pillow but she likes to watch the colors change as she drifts off for the night. Sometimes in the middle of the night she will wake up and turn it back on as well, helping her be comfortable in the dark room. This pillow has really worked well. We have used it for almost 6 weeks now and the batteries are still going strong – the pillow doesn’t get hot – and it has all functioned as promised!
If you have a kid left on your shopping list that may like this for Christmas, you can find it at many large retailers, such as Walmart or online at BrightLightPillow.com for $19.99.
