One week closer to Christmas! We are in full swing Christmas mode in the Terrell household and the #1 thing on Lennox’s mind is her “elfie” – HoHo the Elf on the Shelf! This week has been a little disjointed so some nights, it’s a last-minute scramble to figure out what HoHo the elf should be doing. So the theme this week is “Last Minute” Elf on the Shelf Ideas! If you are looking for even more ideas, make sure to check back on last week’s Elf on the Shelf Ideas in 5 Minutes or Less!
Saturday: Our Elf on the Shelf made some coffee filter snowflakes and taped them to the window! This seems like it could be a lot of work but you can cut out some snowflakes quickly and get them taped up in just a few minutes!
Sunday: HoHo showed up in Lennox’s Room — she was SO excited about this when she woke up! Mom Mom Mom! Dad Dad Dad! It’s HoHo, He’s in my room! I didn’t hear him! We found this cute little Christmas tree too at the Target Red Spot for $1 – perfect size for Elf on the Shelf!
Monday: Elf on the Shelf flew into the hall and sat on top of my “princess” picture as Lennox calls it! This was a good spot because it was completely out of reach! Tuesday: Hanging on the fan – this is a quick one – I just tied his legs onto the cord on the ceiling fan in front of the Christmas tree!
Wednesday: One of Lennox’s favorite games to play is Skylanders. So when her Elfie, HoHo, was found playing them she thought that was silly. She did notice the TV was off (oops). Too observant, that girl!
Thursday: The previous night we had gone to see ICE at the Gaylord Texan and she got this new polar bear from her Mimi. She fell asleep so fast she forgot to bring him to bed so HoHo and polar bear cuddled up on the couch with the Christmas pillow!
