Do you ever feel like a sweet treat but don’t have time, or the energy to bake a whole dessert? What if you had a recipe that would only take 30 seconds to make? Milky Way Simply Caramel Unwrapped Bites are great for baking!

These Unwrapped Bites by Mars, come in a variety of candy flavors – Milky Way, Milky Way Simply Caramel, 3 Musketeers, etc. All these varieties are great for baking, snacking or even giving as small treats for kids. I know Lennox loved them! I have always wanted to try microwave brownies, and when I saw the Simply Caramel Bites at Walmart, I knew those would be a great center for brownies.

The recipe is SO easy and quick – I wanted to share it with you. You can even make these 90% of the way before hand and then just pop in the microwave after dinner!

30 Second Microwave Brownies with Caramel Core Recipe

30 Second Microwave Caramel Brownie in a Mason Jar Recipe

Ingredients / What you will need:

Microwave Brownies - What you will need

  • Pillsbury Brownie Mix
  • Eggs (If you use a different brownie mix, use the ingredients on the box + 1 extra egg)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Water
  • Milky Way Simply Caramel Unwrapped Bites
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Cherries (optional)
  • 4 oz Mason Jars

STEP 1: Add all of the ingredients listed on the brownie box together in one bowl, plus one extra egg. Oil, Water, Brownie Mix, Eggs (+1).mix-all-ingrediants

STEP 2: Mix together by hand until well mixed.

STEP 3: Get out your 4 oz mason jars that you will be using for this recipe. If you don’t have mason jars, you can try a mug or small custard dish.

STEP 4: Pour brownie mix into each mason jar – a little over half full. Be careful to not add too much more than half to each mason jar, or your brownies will spill over in the microwave while cooking. Add in 1-2 Milky Way Simply Caramel Unwrapped Bites to each mason jar.

STEP 5: Place in microwave one at a time and cook for 30 seconds! If you are using a larger mason jar (8 oz) you will want to microwave for double the amount of time.

STEP 6: After 30 seconds, remove brownie from microwave (caution – mason jar will be very hot). Your brownie is now cooked and ready to eat! I let it sit for just a few minutes before finishing off.

STEP 7: Top with Whipped Cream (extra creamy is the best!) and a cherry and it is ready to eat!
