Hooray! Today is Day One of my second annual 12 Days of Christmas Toys Gift Guide series and I can’t wait to share with you a bunch of great toys over the next two weeks! Today I’m featuring some new products from one of my an all-time favorite companies, LEGO! I was luck enough to see some great new products from LEGO this summer in NYC at Blogger Bash and I’m super excited to be working with them this holiday season. Anyway, onto the toys!
Recently, LEGO has introduced the LEGO Juniors line. LEGO Juniors are Easy to Build and made for children around the ages of 4-7. LEGO Juniors are Easy to Build, come with pre-packed numbered bags that correspond to the instructions, and quick start pieces – ready to go out of the box. These are great beginner LEGO sets – I know my nephew has fallen in LOVE with LEGOs – thanks to these and LEGO Mixels!
This is a smaller building brick than Duplo but a little less complicated than the traditional LEGO! Some of the detailed pieces are already put together – or are one big solid piece – I think this makes it easier for little kids too!
One thing I love about LEGO Juniors is the packaging and directions. The easy to follow illustrated directions encourage children to try building their LEGO Junior set by themselves. They also encourage the child to use their imagination and play with their LEGO masterpiece once it is complete!
Bonus! Some of the LEGO Junior kits come in a plastic storage bin – this is great for putting everything back in there and storage. At least we can TRY to be a little organized – right?
LEGO Juniors has a set to match every child’s personality. From the Princess in your life (kind of like Lennox!) with the Princess Castle set, to the fire & rescue enthusiast with the Fire Emergency set to even the new Ninja Turtle themed set: Turtle Lair!
