Little Pim is the most comprehensive and best language program out there! Little Pim’s goal is to teach young children new languages at such a critical age. I know that my daughter, Lennox, get’s to have Spanish and Chinese lessons at school each week – and although when I ask her about what she is learning – she won’t tell me too much I will then hear her up in her room speaking in Spanish or Chinese! It’s pretty awesome to hear a 4 year old talking like that! They are little sponges and just soak everything up.
Little Pim is taking full advantage of this stage in life. Little Pim using a teaching method called Entertainment Immersion Method, which has been developed to make learning fun and easy for kids. Since Little Pim is completely an immersion method – there is no ramp up into the program. Put the first DVD in and let your child start learning right away.
The lessons are very short (under 5 minutes) to go hand in hand with the average toddler/young child’s attention span. Whether they sit down and watch 5 lessons for a half hour, or just one lesson each day – they will start picking up on all of the new words in no time!
The fun little panda bear – Pim – is a great addition. She will hold on to her Pim while she sits (or even dances around) and listens to the lessons.
I have found with Lennox, if I ask her direction what something is or to copy what the DVD is telling her, she won’t do it. But if I let her be and just listen in from a distance, she will soak it up and start repeating!
Little Pim is award winning and available in 11 languages; Spanish, French, English (ESL), Mandarin, Russian, Italian, German, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese and Korean.
