5 Minute No Fuss Princess Curls

Picture Perfect Princess Curls in Just 5 Minutes with Conair Curl Secret

cbias-disclaimer-june2014If you have read my blog at all or seen photos of my daughter, you know that she has always had A LOT of hair! Her hair has gotten so long and thick, that it is so hard to manage – but I hate to cut it off – it’s just so pretty and she gets so many compliments on it! As the winter and holidays approach, there are so many pictures being taken and I don’t want her hair to look like a ratty mess – so I have started to get into the routine of blow drying her hair before bed to help with the tangles. What a difference this had made! The biggest problem we have is that Lennox isn’t a huge fan of the loud hair dryer and it takes quite some time to dry. If it was to air dry, it would still be a little damp in the morning from bath before bed! With a regular hair dryer – it could take up to 10 minutes to dry it completely. Not anymore! I have found the perfect way to get her hair dry in about 2 minutes and I love it! Lennox also has found one of her new favorite hair styles!

I picked up a new hairdryer and curling iron that claimed to be quieter and faster drying the other day at Walmart.

I was unsure if it would make a difference but it really does! This is Lennox after she got out of the bath and had a wet head still….

We used our new Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer for only 2 minutes and got her hair completely dry! It’s much quieter – has a lot of temperature options and fast! I have also been using this blow dryer (and I never blow dry my hair) and it is AMAZING. Usually I air dry my hair, then flat iron it – if I’m going to wear it down – a process that takes A LONG time. I can blow dry my hair now with the brush attachment and it’s STRAIGHT in 5 minutes… no flat iron needed. I’m so sold.

Now that her hair was straight, she wanted me to give her “princess” curls! Usually I use a curling iron and honestly, it’s not very safe to use with a kid and it takes a good 30+ minutes to do her whole head. But she was so excited to try the other great product I got, the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®!

Before I started curling her hair – I wanted to make sure it stayed out of her eyes so that we could see that beautiful face of hers – here is a quick and 5 minute princess curl look for little girls!

Step One: Pull back about 1/4 of your child’s hair and use a small rubber band – leaving it loser from the scalp, than a normal ponytail.

Step Two: With your finger, make a hole in the top of the pony tail and pull the pony tail through to make a small twist – this just makes it a little “fancier” than a normal pony tail!

Step Three: Using your Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® put a small section of the pony tail and curl it for 8-10 seconds.

Step Four: Continue this until you have all the curls you want. I even re-did a few curls putting the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® only half way down the hair to get strong curls on the ends.

This created a very pretty look – with no pain or fighting! Within 5 minutes she had her princess hair and was dancing around the room! It’s SO easy – its pretty amazing. Even my husband said that whoever invented this is pretty genius!

Love the reaction photo! This sounds great for me as well. I have thin hair but a lot of it and it takes hours to air dry, and I get this weird kinda straight/kinda wavy look. Takes me at least 30 minutes to flat iron (45 if I dry and flat iron), and I don’t know how to curl my own hair hehe so these products sound like something I need. Thanks!
