Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to move on to the next holiday with all the kid’s crafts! I have a few fun Valentine’s day projects in mind – but when I was looking for inspiration, I found some other super cute ideas that you could do with your kids (there are lots of big kid craft ideas out there too!). Here are some of my favorite Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids ideas that I found on Pinterest.
Valentine’s Crafts for Kids
This DIY birdseed heart is great as the birds start to come back into the spring months (or if you live in the south – for all the birds that have migrated your way).
A Valentine’s Day sun catcher is sure to bright up any window in your house (also a great idea to send to Grandparents or Great Grandparents for the Valentine’s Day holiday!)
I love all the animals that you can make out of hearts – here is a cute little puppy!
Make this silly little guy out of red solo cups and some construction paper!
This handprint and heart cut out is a such a sweet way to send to any Valentine in your child’s life through the mail!
Here is another cute little heart animal – a penguin!
I remember making these little pom-pom guys when I was little.
Make some cute and useful bookmarks with thumbprint hearts on them.
I have seen a lot of “slime” recipes on Pinterest and have never tried it before – but this one looks pretty neat!
Make a little love bug out of your child’s footprint! Great for children of all ages.
Take a paper plate and some hearts and you can make a fish.
