In just under a month Lennox will be turning FIVE. I can’t believe it. She has asked for a Hello Kitty birthday party this year – and I think that is such a cute and fun theme! There are so many ideas that I have for food, decor, favors, etc that I am having a hard time narrowing it all down. We will be having a family party as we usually do and I’ll make some cute decorations, but her kid party this year will be at Chuck E Cheese’s – so minimal decorations will be needed. I am kind of exciting to not have to do as much – even though I’ll end up doing plenty! I can’t help it!
So where else do I turn to when I need to plan a party? Pinterest! You can find everything that I have found so far on my Hello Kitty Birthday Party Pinterest Board:
But here are a few of my favorites:
I love these lanterns. I got some Mini White Paper Lanterns from Oriental Trading Company that I am going to try to transform into Hello Kitties.
These Hello Kitty Goodie Bags look so cute and easy to make! I think I’ll use a bag with a handle instead, but turn them into Hello Kitties for sure.
A photo backdrop is always fun – this is a simple and inexpensive way to decorate a wall for photos!
I am planning on making some simple sprinkle cupcakes for the party, and will use a similar type of cupcake wrapper like this…
There are 3 different Hello Kitty Party supply lines available at Oriental Trading Company as well. The Hello Kitty Theme that we picked was like this:
I got these great invitations from Tiny Prints as well. They didn’t have Hello Kitty specific invitations, but the rainbow theme was bright and I loved that I could include a photo of Lennox. You can find these invitations on Tiny Prints: Harmony in Time
I have so many other ideas that I will be sharing as I get them finished, so if you are a Hello Kitty fan, keep your eye out! Time to get back to party planning for a special (almost) FIVE YEAR OLD!
