In September I told you about Lonestar Eggs and how good they were. They are a Texan company that is proud to be part of Texas and providing us Texans with a quality product. Since trying them, we haven’t purchased any other type of eggs. They really do have more flavor than your generic supermarket egg and the price is very similar.
A few days ago I gave a new recipe a shot, that was a little different from the regular egg recipe, so I decided on trying a mug cake recipe. The one I made was delicious and was one of my favorite combinations of flavors – peanut butter and chocolate.
This recipe couldn’t be any easier and you don’t have to make a big mess in your kitchen because it’s all made in a mug! This peanut butter mug cake uses just four ingredients and takes only 1 minute to bake. Here is what you need to do.
1-Minute Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake
- 1 Egg (I used Lonestar Eggs)
- 3 Tablespoons Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Mini Chocolate Chip
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
How to make:
STEP ONE: Crack 1 egg into a large microwave safe mug. Wisk well.
STEP TWO: Add in 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon of mini chocolate chips. Mix very well.
STEP THREE: Microwave on high for 1 minute. Let sit and cool for 2-3 minutes and then enjoy!
Easy, right? This is the perfect dessert for those evenings when you want a sweet treat but don’t have the time or energy to make something bigger! So grab some Lonestar Eggs next time you are shopping for your groceries and try making a mug cake of your own!
What is your favorite dessert to make that includes eggs?
