Another Year of Elf on the Shelf

Our Elf on the Shelf, HoHo, has returned for another year of shenanigans. I will have to say, I have not done as good of a job having him hop around the house this year – with being so busy this holiday season – but I’m now on vacation through the rest of the year and plan on doing some fun stuff with HoHo as we head into Christmas day!

Here are some of the shenanigans that HoHo has gotten into so far this year!

Then one day he got himself stuck in the K-Cup holder! Lennox was a little concerned!

HoHo found a girlfriend and was cruisin’ around in her pink convertible!

One day, HoHo brought Lennox some change for her piggy bank in her room. She was so excited that he was in her bedroom!

And today HoHo is taking a bubble bath in marshmallows! Lennox keeps eating his bath!!

Adding to our Elf on the Shelf Tradition + Giveaway!

cbias-disclaimer-june2014Ok, I know I know, it’s not even Halloween yet, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t already planning for the Christmas season! If it was up to me, we would start Christmas (everything) right after Halloween! If you follow me through the Christmas season, you will already know that I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Everything about the Christmas season makes me so happy and excited! It’s like I turn into a little kid again – and now I have a kid to do everything with all over again. One of the traditions I just love is Elf on the Shelf and this year I have found the PERFECT toys to go along with our Elf this year, thanks to Hallmark!

Meet HoHo, The Terrell’s Elf on the Shelf! Lennox couldn’t love HoHo more at Christmas time. Some people may think that Elf on the Shelf is creepy or weird, but when I watch Lennox run downstairs each morning in December and search for HoHo, it makes me smile and extends that Christmas magic! So why am I telling you about HoHo? Well this year, our Elf on the Shelf will be incorporating two new toys into our tradition – both part of the new Northpole line by Hallmark!

These first of the two new toys, is the Northpole Communicator. You guys? This thing is so cool – I wish I had one when I was a kid! How would your child like to hear a message from the Northpole everyday when their Elf on the Shelf returns? Well, they can now do that with this Northpole Communicator! Every day in the month of December your child can push the button and turn the knob to have a conversation with Santa or someone in his workshop! How fun is that? I plan on having HoHo show up with this on Day 1 or 2! Stay tuned to see how it goes!

The second toy, is the book Once Upon a Northpole Christmas – with Santa Beacon! There is something about Christmas books. Every year, we have to get a few new ones – they are magical, exciting and so fun to read before bed all December long.

This book also come with a personalized “Find Me, Santa” beacon. I think this could also be a “Find Me, Elf!” beacon. Lennox has her very own Christmas tree – and I think this will look great on it! I can really picture her each night, turning on her beacon so that HoHo the Elf on the Shelf can find his way back from the Northpole and on Christmas Eve for Santa to come down the chimney! So, I wasn’t joking when I told you I love Christmas! If you are looking for either of these new Hallmark Northpole products – to incorporate into your own family Christmas traditions, they will be available starting November 1st at your local Walmart!

Elf on the Shelf – The Week Before Christmas

Only a few more days until the big man comes down the Chimney and Ho Ho has been hard at work around the house, while Lennox soaks in all the magic of Christmas. I think she is going to be very sad to see HoHo go this year 🙁
