This past weekend was the Red River Rivalry showdown at the Texas State Fair. The Red River Rivalry game is the University of Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma University Sooners football game. The cotton bowl at the Texas state fairgrounds is considered common ground between the two colleges. The past few years, Oklahoma (OU) has won.. so this year, it was the Longhorns turn! They played a great game and Kyle even got to attend with his brother – he said it was the best sports event he had ever been to! Glad they had a great time!
While he was at the game, my friend Diana (from Down Home Traveler) came over and she had the idea of taking some football / Texas Longhorns mommy / daughter photos. Lennox loves the Longhorns (“Hook’em Horns” as she calls them) – so it was the perfect idea and opportunity!
This was also a team effort (ha! no pun intended!) – Diana took all the pictures, got the idea, scoured Pinterest of course and then, since she was still learning her editing skills, I took her photo files and edited them to my liking – really just to play around and have some fun!
And lastly, a big hug for Momma. I love this girl so much. My oh my, when did Lennox get so big? I’m so happy to have some mother daughter pictures. It doesn’t happen so often, since I’m the one behind the camera! Thank You, Thank You Diana! Can’t wait for our next session! Maybe something Baseball themed?
