Who is the Sexiest Man Alive?

Do you live in an area where Kroger Stores are available? Do you also love PEOPLE Magazine? Well, this post will be for you then! PEOPLE magazine may be a guilty pleasure for many, while others may wait anxiously each month for their issue to arrive in their mailbox; either way you can’t say that you never want to read PEOPLE Magazine. I personally find myself getting PEOPLE magazine at airports and on road trips when I would actually have time to read it {or at least look at all the celebrity pictures!}.

PEOPLE Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive cover 2011

This week PEOPLE Magazine will be announcing the 2012 Sexiest Man Alive in the PEOPLE Magazine’s Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue {available on the 15th!}. Last year it was Bradley Cooper, 2010 was Hugh Jackman and 2009 was Johnny Depp. Who do you think they will pick for 2012? My guess would be Ryan Gosling. He has had so many new movies lately, he is all over the internet, and I mean, who can’t win when you have pins all over pinterest with funny sayings? There are so many out there on pinterest, but here are a few funny ones I found tonight:

Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe

Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe {Pinned it, Made it}

This past weekend, I found this yummy recipe for a baked spaghetti {million dollar spaghetti to be exact} via pinterest and it looked too good to pass up! It came out great! I did change the recipe a little bit and though I would share with all of you. It is super easy and made a lot, so we had leftovers for a few days. I love recipes that have leftovers. That way I don’t have to cook every night!!

Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound of Ground Beef {you could use turkey or sausage as well}
  • 2 cans of Tomato Sauce {15oz each}
  • 1/4 cup Spicy Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning {or 1 packet of seasoning}
  • 1 teaspoon of Minced Garlic {fresh would have been better, but I didn’t have any on hand}
  • 8oz of Cream Cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup of Sour Cream
  • 1/2 lb {about 1 cup I think} of Small Curd Cottage Cheese {I used low-fat}
  • 1/2 stick of Butter
  • 12 oz of Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 cup of Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese {I think you could add as much or as little as you want!}

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.
  2. Boil water for noodles and cook until done, drain.
  3. While pasta is cooking, combine Cream Cheese, Sour Cream and Cottage Cheese in bowl and mix very well {I used my Kitchen Aid Mixer for this, so that it was combined as well as it was going to be!}. When done, set aside.
  4. Cook Ground Beef until well browned, drain.
  5. Add Garlic into meat and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add Spaghetti Sauce and Seasoning to meet and simmer for 5 minutes, or until you are ready to use.
  7. In a large casserole dish {I used a rectangle glass dish} slice up button and put half on bottom of dish.
  8. Add 1/2 of the cooked pasta and spread over bottom of dish.
  9. Add cheese mixture on top of pasta and spread out evenly.
  10. Add the rest of the pasta and rest of butter and spread out.
  11. Pour sauce over top of dish and spread out.
  12. Bake in oven, uncovered for 30 minutes.
  13. Add Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese over top of casserole and cook for another 10-15 minute until all melted.
  14. That’s it, Enjoy!!

If you make this, let me know what you think!

Lennox’s Favorite Books

Dr Seuss Reading Quote

My parents like to remind me that every night, when I was little, I would need 3 books read to me before I would go to bed. Not 1, not 2, but 3. Well, Lennox is the same way, although I think she would be happy if I read her 10 books every night. She is hard to resist when she looks up at me with her little finger in the air saying “One more mommy, one more”. Even cuter when she says, “Uno Mas mommy, Uno Mas”! Eventually I have to stop reading and she has to go to bed.

Even though Lennox has about 150 books, we seem to read the same ones OVER AND OVER again. I thought I would share what her favorite books have been for the past few months.

Here are her top seven, in no particular order:

1. Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Carle

Brown Bear Brown Bear

2. Little Critter Hansel and Gretel Flip Book by Mercer Mayer (Mercer Mayer was one of my favorite’s as a kid!)

3. Clifford’s Peekaboo by Norman Bridwell

4. But Not the Hippopotamus by Sandra Boynton

But Not The Hippopotamus

5. Cuddle! by Beth Shoshan (She received this one as her Christmas gift at school)

Cuddle

6. Dr Seuss’s ABC

Dr Seuss's ABC

and finally, since it seems to be Christmas all year round for Lennox ( she is still wearing Santa pajamas in July!)…

7. Montgomery Ward’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Circa 1946) This book is SO long and so old and falling apart, but she LOVES it!
