Lalaloopsy … Everything!

Lalaloopsy Obsessed

Toys

Lennox loves her toys. She has LOTS of toys. But some of her favorites lately are Lalaloopsy. At Christmas, we skipped over everything Lalaloopsy, thinking she wouldn’t like them yet or she was too young, but the few gifts she got from others, she really loved. I think that is still her favorite and for sure, the most used Christmas toy – a Lalaloopsy blanket. How simple. She just loves it and has to sleep it every night. She calls it her “Blanklee” So this all started her obsession.

Lennox got 3 Lalaloopsies from family at Christmas time. Those little suckers are expensive, so she hadn’t gotten anymore. But I was lucky enough to get some new ones for her at the consignment sale the other week for super cheap (we’re talking $4/$5 each)!

Television & Movies

We were watching Nick Jr. the other day, we saw the preview for a Lalaloopsy show! We were both excited for it! Up until now, there has just been the 1 movie, which we have watched too many times on Netflix. There is also a new movie, which is only available on TV and at Walmart. If your kiddo likes Lalaloopsy too, check out the new show on Nick Jr. starting Friday, March 29 at 7:30pm EST.

Party Planning

What else Lalaloopsy? Well, I am planning on Lennox’s THIRD (whoa) birthday party to be Lalaloopsy themed! Instead of going all out and having the party at home, we are going to have her birthday party at the neighborhood spray park. I don’t have to get the house ready, it’s free and it’s fun! We will be able to invite all her little friends from school too. I will of course, still have plenty of items at the party that will be Lalaloopsy themed. Here are a few of my favorites from Pinterest.

I think the decor for a Lalaloopsy party can be so much fun since its bright and playful. I will post more about this as we get closer to Lennox’s birthday and as I plan it all out. These are just some of my initial finds!

Does your little one love Lalaloopsy too? Have you had a Lalaloopsy party? I’d love to see pictures from it!

A Toddler Christmas Wishlist

Christmas Wishlist for Lennox

Christmas time is about to be upon us {or already is for some who disrespect the turkey — I would be in full Christmas mode, if Kyle would go along with it..but not until the day after Thanksgiving in this house — boo!}.

If you remember my consignment post, I got almost all of Lennox’s christmas gifts taken care of this fall! It was nice to get all her main gifts taken care of. Of course, I have picked up a few other little things and stocking stuffers {how can I resist?}. There is still one thing left to get, every time we talk about Santa, she asks for a Pink Necklace — so I have to make sure I get a Pink Necklace as her Santa gift!

So even though my shopping is done for her, I have to put together a wishlist for everyone else in the family, since they will be asking what she likes/wants. So here is what I came up with:

A Toddler Christmas Wishlist

{from left to right – top to bottom}

1. Butterflies Doll – This is a new line of dolls that is only available at Cracker Barrel {random I know!}. They are super cute, inexpensive and have lots of fun accessories. The best part is that they sell clothes for both doll and toddler, so that they can match. Similar to American Doll, but WAY cheaper! She always likes to play with them when we go there for Breakfast.

2. Melissa & Doug Latch Board – I just love Melissa & Doug. This is one I have wanted to get her for a while, but just haven’t. Each time she sees this latch board somewhere, she plays with it.

3. Melissa & Doug Stamp Set – She loves stamps and doing art, so there are lots of art things on her list this year. I like that these have a handle, so maybe she won’t be completely covered in ink!

4. Melissa & Doug {do you see a trend?} Lacing Toy — This is a skill they are working on at her Montessori School, so I thought it would be a good one to have at home as well.

5. Dora the Explorer Cash Register – Lennox likes Dora and Money.. go figure. Thought this would be something different for her to play with and learn about money.

6. Crayola Color Wonders Fingerpaints — This looked interesting when I saw it at the store. Seems like a much less messy way of playing with finger paints!

7. Mickey Mouse Beanbag Chair — I saw this just this weekend in the Bed Bath & Beyond flyer and I know she would love it. She played on the bean bags at my work and she loves Mickey Mouse.

8. Lorax 3D DVD — We have never seen this movie, but I’ve heard good things. We also just got a 3D tv, so this I thought this would be a good one.

9. Lennox is getting a lot of Cinderella stuff this Christmas. She knows who Cinderella is, but has never seen the movie.

10. Aqua Doodle — Lennox likes to color, but seems to color on EVERYTHING in sight, so this would help control the mess and let her draw and draw!

So what is on your little one’s Christmas list this year? Do you have any of these toys already?

Lennox having a tea party with Minnie Mouse

Lennox’s Favorite Toddler Toys {Toddle Along Tuesday}

In the past I have shared our favorite baby items, as well as some favorite toddler toys from last year, but here is an updated top 3 toddler toys list for this week’s Toddle Along Tuesday hosted by Growing Up Geeky and The Momma Diaries!

#1 ANYTHING cooking related. She just loves pretending to cook for you. She will serve invisible food, on invisible plates with invisible forks… but when she doesn’t want to be invisible, she will use her Pink Argyle KidKraft Kitchen or her new Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprise Kitchen Table. We have lots of Melissa & Doug food as well, she just loves it all! Here is Lennox cooking a meal for her baby doll!

Yes, she even has an oven mitt ;-)

#2 Tea Parties! Lennox loves to have a tea party. She will have one by herself, with us, with her cousin, with her teddy bears or even with her grandparents through Skype. I would have to say tea parties through Skype has to be a new one..but I love it – it’s so cute! Lennox has the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Tea Set as well as a bigger Disney princess tea set.

We all have tea parties with Minnie Mouse, right?

#3: Now that it’s cool, Lennox has lots of fun playing on her Little Tikes Endless Adventure Playground! It seems really well-built, can handle multiple kids playing on it and as she grows she will be able to keep using it as the climbing wall is still a little confusing to her.

Fun news! I will be hosting Toddle Along Tuesday next week! The topic is funny/quirky baby or toddler habits! Does your little one do some silly thing or have a weird habit that makes you laugh? I’d love to hear about it. Lennox has a few quirky habits as well! Check back next week to find out what she has to do, upside down!
