As I mentioned in my Mother’s Day post, we headed to Dallas to check out the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

I wanted to share some of the photos from the trip with Lennox. To be a kid again and to use your imagination so much; at times, I’m so jealous of her!

And check out her reaction here while Kyle was racing Felix Jones in the sports exhibit. Kyle lost by .01 second, that’s pretty good! Lennox was cheering her on and so proud of her daddy!

Lennox and I racing a T-Rex. They may be big and move slowly but they have HUGE steps so we had no chance in beating it! But Lennox could pretend to be a dinosaur, nevertheless!

Wordless Wednesday >> Azalea Photos

This past weekend we went to Tyler, Texas to visit Kyle’s family. If you know anything about Tyler, you know that they are all about Azalea’s this time of year. They are everywhere, they have Azalea trails, garden, etc. So going to Tyler in the spring, means you really need to get your picture taken in front of them. Unfortunately on Sunday it was a rainy day so we couldn’t’ go to the big garden in town, so we just took some pictures in Kyle’s aunt & uncle’s yard where they have a few Azalea bushes.

I thought I would share some of the pictures I was able to capture after the rain slowed down for this week’s Wordless Wednesday.

Lennox learning to ride her bike

She’s on a Roll! >> Wordless Wednesday

If you remember a while back, Lennox got a bike for Christmas from her Mimi. We have been using it on and off, but over the past month she has really gotten it down and can pedal really fast. She wasn’t really steering, so she would crash into things if we didn’t help her out, but this last weekend, she got it! She was doing circles around the kitchen and house and then followed the sidewalk down to the pond and playground.

She is very determined when she is riding, check out her faces:

She did great on our neighbors regular bike too with training wheels, but I think she likes the seat back still, so we’ll stick with the Radio Flyer for now! She did experiment going down the driveway (which is a decline) and she went crashing into Daddy’s car…OOPS!!
